The company’s quality policy has the primary objective of satisfying customer needs and requirements by providing products and services of guaranteed quality.
To this end, a Quality Management System is implemented that meets the requirements of ISO 9001-2015.
The development of the Quality Management System is a shared responsibility of all company members and is based on the following principles:
Provide all levels of the organization with motivation, training, freedom, and authority to suggest and implement quality improvements.
Promote effective communication and teamwork, planning and effectively channeling actions to meet the needs of customers, staff, and shareholders, while adequately complying with our suppliers.
Create the necessary tools to generate a continuous improvement work system.
Environmental policy
The main objective of OVINIPLAST S.A.’s environmental policy is to improve the environmental performance of its activities related to the design, manufacturing, and marketing of thermoplastic tooling and products.
To this end, an Integrated Management System is implemented that meets the Environmental Management requirements.
The development of the Management System is a commitment shared by all company members and is based on the following principles:
Proactive comprehensive environmental management, including compliance with applicable legal requirements and the search for alternatives and methods for pollution prevention.
Promote the rational use of resources and environmental services through the use of energy, water, and sustainable consumption.
Integrate the variable of sustainable development into the company’s processes.
Implement sustainable practices and adopt clean technologies to minimize environmental impacts. – Promote and strengthen the environmental culture among the company’s personnel.
Continuous improvement in the optimization of resources and processes.
Business ethics
Product Quality and Responsible Innovation: Products and services are delivered to meet the specifications, quality, and safety criteria specified in the relevant contractual documents and are safe for their intended uses. Research and development are conducted responsibly, based on good practices and generally accepted scientific, technological, and ethical principles.
Confidential and Competitive Information: All competitive information is obtained and used legitimately and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. No attempt is made to disclose information about our competitors to our clients under any circumstances. Likewise, confidential information held by OVNIPLAST S.A. about our clients must not be shared with any third party unless expressly permitted by the client.
Financial Records, Money Laundering, and Insider Trading: All business transactions are conducted transparently and accurately recorded in the books and records of OVNIPLAST S.A. There is no actual or attempted involvement in money laundering. No confidential information held by OVNIPLAST S.A. regarding clients is used to engage in or support insider trading.
Conflicts of Interest: All conflicts of interest in any business dealings with the client, of which OVNIPLAST S.A. becomes aware, will be disclosed to the client to allow them the opportunity to take appropriate action. Any ownership or beneficial interest in OVNIPLAST S.A.’s business held by a government official, political party representative, or employee will be disclosed to the client prior to entering into any business relationship.
Gifts and Hospitality: Any business entertainment or hospitality provided by OVNIPLAST S.A. to the client is reasonable in nature, for the sole purpose of maintaining good business relations, and is not intended to in any way influence the client’s statements or how the client grants future business. Gifts should be given in moderation and should always be legitimate and in line with company policies.
Bribery: All forms of bribery, corruption, extortion, or embezzlement are prohibited, and adequate procedures are in place to prevent bribery in all business dealings between OVNIPLAST S.A. and our customers.
Compliance with Laws: OVNIPLAST S.A. is committed to conducting its business with honesty and integrity, complying with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. All employees must comply with the laws to which OVNIPLAST S.A. is subject, respecting the laws, rules, and other requirements applicable to conducting business in all countries where OVNIPLAST S.A. operates. They must not, under any circumstances, engage in illegal or unethical acts, nor instruct others to do so. Any violation of such laws and regulations may lead to civil and criminal prosecution. Activities that may involve OVNIPLAST S.A. in illegal practices are prohibited. Laws and regulations around the world have changed and become more complex. Inappropriate conduct in one country can lead to liability for OVNIPLAST S.A. or its employees, not only in that country but potentially in other countries as well.
All of the principles mentioned in the previous points are promoted by OVNIPLAST S.A. so that they are applicable to our suppliers.
